Today we are living in a society called "technology
civilization". In this society, people tend to depend more on computers
than ever. Computers has become revolution, it has changes not only in terms of
economy but human social lifestyle. Many gadgets have obsoleted after the
invention and innovation of computers and with the advance technology computers
has replaced human in many aspect.
However, there are more advantages than
disadvantages while depends on computers. First and foremost, computers are
good for education in terms of writing, practising, searching, learning and
more. It able to assists human to search and analyse any type of information.
Furthermore, combination of computers and internet allow us to communicate
other people from different countries and even face to face communication is
available in the computers.
Computers have become convenient tools for students in school. According
to a latest school research, students choose to use computers to complete their
homework instead of handwriting and books. There were still students believe
that books are more useful than computers. In spite of that, this research shows
that students are benefited more than books in terms of many aspects.
Hence,schools are encourage to purchase more computers rather than books. It is
because students are able to search for any information without spending much
time while doing their homework.
In the business point of view, many businesses today require
computers to conduct and communicate one another. If students are able to learn
many application or program in the early stage, they are able to obtain a job
easily in the future. Computers today has innovated and transformed into a
small chips that’s for vehicle purposes such as GPS and sensor that installed
in cars. Computers that are also needed doctors to store regarding patient
medical information and treatment purposes.
On the other hand, computers are invented with several problems.
In the education point of view, the words and spell check in the word
processing-Microsoft office has been a problems among the students and
lecturer. The software is well-function in catching words mistake but suitable
word in a sentence is not able to detect. For example, “he dumb the rubbish
into the dustbin”. The word “dumb” is incorrect and should be replacing as “dump”
because it is proper spelling. The
overall of this software is impressive and it has offers many pros than cons.
It allows students to become conceited and cease to think critically about
their writing skills.
Computers and technology has become part of human life. People use
computers in their daily lives to save time and works. Even though computers
have brings many advantages but scientist fear that vital skills might be lost
as the future generation replace the traditional ways of working style with
computers. In addition, they have predicted the computers failure might change
the society and turn into chaos as they will no longer follow the orders and
refuse to listen from them.
In conclusion, computers and development of technology are useful
and become part of our human life. It has become a problem if live without them
nowadays, as we use them in our daily life. However, scientist should work and
find ways of making our dependence on computers and technology less dangerous
for us, as they have predicted the chaos might occur in the future. Even though
we are so depend on computers, we also shall be aware while using them.
